What Flying With Asante Feels Like
Small And Personal
Eight seats at most. The crew know who is on board, and there is no queue, no gate and no crowd.
The View
Low and slow over the Rift Valley, the Nile and the crater lakes — every window is a good one.
Quick On The Ground
Check-in at Entebbe is 45 minutes before departure; the park strips are quicker still.
Comfort
Club and VIP seating, real legroom, and a cabin kept as quiet and cool as a light aircraft allows.
Flying a small aircraft is different — see Travel Information for baggage, check-in and what to expect.

Crew Qualifications
Flights are operated by licensed commercial pilots trained and checked to UCAA requirements on type, with recurrent training and route familiarity for the airfields we use.
Operational Control
Every flight is planned and released under the operator's control — weather, weight and balance, airfield status, daylight and fuel are checked before departure, and flights are followed while airborne.
Aircraft Inspection & Maintenance
Aircraft are maintained to the manufacturer's programme by approved maintenance organisations in Uganda. Engineers and technical personnel hold Cessna certifications. Scheduled inspections, component overhauls and airworthiness records are managed under UCAA oversight, and an aircraft does not fly with a defect outstanding against the minimum equipment list.
Passenger & Cargo Insurance
Passenger liability, and cargo cover appropriate to the load, are carried in line with regulatory requirements. Certificates of insurance are provided to charter and contract clients on request.
Emergency Procedures
Crews are trained in emergency and abnormal procedures for the type, including survival and first aid. Safety briefings are given before every flight. Medevac and urgent operations are coordinated with the relevant medical and ground teams.
Certifications
Copies of the AOC, Air Service Licences, insurance certificates and the operator's safety documentation are available to clients and partners on request. Request documents.
